Howdy!

Welcome family, friends, and internet stalkers! Kidding!  For a writer to not have an outlet to write is frustrating.  I had a blog before when the kids were first born.  It was a way for friends and family to keep up with the triplet's progress.  For us, it was a our 21st century equivelent of a baby book.  But, after awhile, it became a chore.  It was getting boring to write about how much the kids pooped and ate that day.  If it was boring for me to write, I know it was boring for people to read.  So, we deleted the blog.

I am an blog addict.  I love searching the internet looking at blogs for design ideas, project ideas, and ideas on how to get Princess to stop laughing when she is in timeout.  Especially now that Pinterest has become an addiction, I am constantly being linked back to people's blogs.  My fingers have literally been itching to start writing again.  So, here I am.

I'm going to give you a quick idea about what I envision this blog to be:
- A way to share creative ideas and display work.  I love sewing, painting, decorating (for cheap!), redoing old picture frames... just about any project.  My bedroom looks like Hobby Lobby exploded.  Cowboy loves it... yeah, not so much.
- A place to brag about my beautiful kids
- A place to beg for ideas on how to contain these horrible monsters that take over my kids' bodies once or twice a day.  :)
- A place to discuss news and celebrity
- A way to promote charity
- A place to share teaching ideas, classroom hints, and stories about teaching
- A place to share recipes and cooking ideas.  I love to cook when I  have the time, and I am now trying to find new, healthy food ideas for the triplets.

What you will not see on this blog:
- No real names.  On my first blog I listed my children's names and we began getting some very unwanted attention.  It got a little scary and a lot weird.  So, nicknames it is.  If you know us in real life, please try and use nicknames when commenting.
- No agendas.  I might write about an issue in the news or politics, but I am no means an expert, nor am I all knowing.  This is just a place to share my thoughts and ideas.
- No whining.  I may write about my kids being crazy or my job being busy, but there will never be a "Oh, poor me" post.  I love my life, and if I didn't, then it is my fault for not changing it.

I'm excited to be back in the blog world!
